I Break Hearts When Mine Gets Broken

I admit that do not know much about guys. Yes, I know their minds revolve around (mostly) one thing, but when I try to have a conversation with a guy, sometimes I end up confused and do not know where to go from their.
Just once I would like to meet someone who shares my interests, is atheleticlly built, has a sense of humor, and above all commits to a relationship.
My cousin, who is the same age as me, is getting married in November. My friend, a year older, is getting married next year. Both have been with their fiances for a couple years.
The longest relationship I have been in was nine months.

I hate hearing "when you get married" statements from my family. What ABOUT when I get married? I don't even have a boyfriend!

My Violent Heart

Is it wrong for a woman to call a time out in a fledgling relationship? Or are they perceived as the "bad guy" in the same way the man is when he breaks up a relationship.
For months I have struggled to find balance with someone I could call my other half. Despite our identical interests, we just could not agree on a level of intimacy. There were times when it seemed that he could not control himself despite my pleas to slow down. There were two instances in the past where he got in my face and verbally accused me of not being honest. Yet I still feel that he continues to push and pull me back and forth with talk of romance.
Finally I told him I could not do it anymore. I was in a long distance relationship before and it broke my heart when I accepted the fact I could not be with that person. He did not scream or plead, he was silent and said alright. I left and told him that I was sorry and that I still care about him. I just cannot see myself dating him right now.

I hope he understands.

Bitch You Butchered My Hair!

Ugh.
I did not want it this short. Granted it doesn't make me look like a dyke (sorry for the expression), but it's shorter then what I wanted. My parents like it and I am still getting used to it. I'm still happy with the bangs, but she really should have kept a couple inches.

Question: How do you mend a potentially destroyed friendship?

Who the Fuck is Mowing Their Lawn at 8:30 in the Morning?!

Seriously, people I know it's going to get up to 80 degrees today but do you think you could hold off the last minute landscaping until 10 am?
Not much else to report. Still plotting my escape from the firery depths of hell (ie; the bookstore), hope that someone returns one of my calls this morning before I go b--k to w--k. Business is slow, so why do they keep giving me midshifts? There's nothing to do!

I Do Not Want This

No more. I feel the constant need to say (no scream) something at my manager(s) because of my unhappiness, boredom and frustration with idiotic customers. I honestly believe this is the last straw for me working in retail. There has got to be more out there than this, and eventually I will find it and escape the hellhole known as retail.
School cannot come soon enough. Unfortunately, I thought I would have a chance to relax this weekend and find some happiness in my friends but that is not to be. The two I was planning to see bailed out at the last minute leaving me stuck here this weekend and come monday back to the inferno.
